ISTD - Landsteiner
“And the Winner is…”
The brief asked participants to celebrate the Nobel Prize, consider the institution, the award categories, subjects and their work.
Karl Landsteiner discovered blood types.
This discovery made modern medicine what it is today; he has saved countless lives through his efforts while also changing the face of scientific advances in the practical field, in connection with blood-transfusion therapy, identification of blood, and establishing of paternity.
The book concentrates on organic elements of the blood and the human body, looking at medical environments with clean shapes and colour, while using typography, photography and letters to illustrate the discovery.
